Weddings allow me to capture love in its most joyful, intimate, and unfiltered form. Senior sessions keep me grounded in the education world I came from and give me the chance to encourage and celebrate the next generation — something I’ll always cherish.
Hi, I’m Wendy — photographer, storyteller, and former educator turned full-time creative.
I’m lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful corners of the world: tucked between Mount Hood and the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. After years in education, I traded the classroom for a camera so I could document the real, raw, and unforgettable moments that shape people’s lives — and it’s been the most fulfilling journey I could imagine.
Photography has always been a part of who I am. I was the kid running around with a disposable or early digital camera, capturing every laugh, every quirky moment, every tiny detail that made life feel magical. Today, I get to do that professionally — documenting weddings, adventurous elopements, family stories, and senior milestones for people who trust me with their memories.
I’m not a wallflower photographer. I’m the one who hypes you up, laughs with you, and jumps right on the dance floor during your reception. This is your day, and I’m here to experience the joy right alongside you while capturing every second of it.
Beyond photographing your story, I’m also an ordained officiant, a calming presence, and your biggest cheerleader. I’m here to make things easy, fun, and stress-free — whether it’s timeline help, gentle posing guidance, or easing pre-wedding nerves. My goal is for you to feel celebrated, comfortable, and completely yourself in front of my lens.
I grew up in a small town where community meant everything — where people knew your name and always showed up. That same warmth and connection shape the way I approach every wedding and senior session. When we work together, I want you to feel like you’re with a friend who just happens to have a camera and a passion for preserving your memories.
As a biracial Mexican American woman who didn’t grow up immersed in Mexican culture, reconnecting with my roots has been a deeply personal and intentional journey. Everything I know, I’ve taught myself because it’s important to me to keep that part of my identity alive for my kids. I’ve learned Spanish over the years and love working with Latino couples, giving me the chance to speak the language, celebrate the culture, and practice as often as I can. My family and I travel to Mexico 2–3 times a year to immerse ourselves in the traditions, warmth, and community that feel like home.
I love to hike and travel.

These are my people. My favorite humans in the world. My hubby and 3 babies
After my first husband lost his battle with mental illness, nature and hiking became therapeutic to me. Places like this will always bring me peace.
